I grew up about an hour from Canada in upstate New York.  I called Rochester, NY, home for 51 years before moving to Florida. For 32 years, I worked for CRM Property Maintenance and Renovations as their Supervisor of Landscaping Maintenance. During the summer, we would maintain property landscaping, and between November and March, we would perform snow operations. 

Making a life change, I decided to move to Florida to put my talents to the test.  I got a position work at Pine Lake Nursery as a Landscaping Foreman.  My primary responsibility was to install commercial landscapes in the Tampa area.  Some of my projects included the Riverwalk expansion, State Route 52 “new addition, the Ridge Rd addition project, and enhanced landscaping on the Pinellas trail in St Pete.

While doing a project at the Hub On Campus Tampa, I ran into Patrick Crowder.  That day, Patrick saw my potential and said that whenever I needed a job to give him a call.  Moving to Florida and calling Patrick Crowder was my best decision ever.  Today I am the Landscaping Project Manager assisting our Landscape Manager with day-to-day field operations and overseeing the crews.  During my tenure at Crowder’s, some of our most notable projects are landscaping the All-new Serengeti Flyer at Busch Gardens, multiple USF campus enhancement projects, and many other demolition/install projects for current commercial customers. 

I am proud to hold a certificate of training from UF/IFAS.  More specifically, I am fully trained through the Green Industries “Best Management Practices” program developed by the Florida Department of Environment Protection with the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. I take pride in my work and live by the motto, “Failing is not an option.”  I wake up in the morning enjoying coming to work. I can’t thank Kristina and Patrick enough for bringing me on board. I greatly respect them and all the team members employed at Crowder’s Landscaping.
